This 7-1/4" Stainless Steel Flex Coupler (Short New Style) is an advanced universal coupling designed to optimize the performance of Tommy Wraps with straight arms. Being approximately two inches shorter than previous versions, this newer style facilitates improved brush dynamics, allowing the wrap to glide smoothly and effortlessly in and out around vehicle sides as it passes through the wash tunnel.
Crafted entirely from durable stainless steel for both its core and base, this coupler is built to provide exceptional longevity and withstand the corrosive and demanding environment of a car wash. Its robust construction ensures reliable operation and minimizes wear.
The coupler features precisely engineered connection points: it connects the frame arm at the top to the motor cage below. For secure frame arm attachment, it includes 1-1/2 inch inside diameter black UHMW (Ultra-High Molecular Weight) bushings on both sides. These high-performance bushings are known for their low friction and excellent wear resistance, contributing to the coupler's smooth operation. The base of the coupler provides a solid attachment to the motor cage, equipped with four 3/8 inch mounting holes for secure installation. The 5-1/4" center-to-center dimension ensures precise fitment within compatible systems.
