Z-Wrap/Rocker Brush/Tire Shine Arm Shock with 3/8" Bushing

The Z-Wrap/Rocker Brush/Tire Shine Arm Shock is a highly versatile and essential component for several key systems within a car wash tunnel. This shock absorber is designed to control the movement of various arms, providing smooth and consistent motion while preventing erratic or harsh contact with vehicles. Its universal design allows it to be used as a direct replacement for shocks on:

• Z-Wraps: Mounted between the wrap arm and the ladder rack.
• Rocker Brushes: Positioned between the rear shock mount and the shock mount attachment.
• Tire Shine Units: Installed between the rear frame and the main frame.

This shock is engineered to provide the necessary resistance to absorb impact and regulate arm movement, ensuring optimal performance for each application. Its robust construction includes two durable 3/8" UHMW (Ultra-High-Molecular-Weight) plastic bushings, which are highly resistant to wear and tear from constant operation.

With a compressed length of 15-3/8 inches and an extended length of 27-1/2 inches, this shock is perfectly sized for its various applications. A loss of resistance, sluggish movement, or any visible fluid leaks are clear signs that the shock is failing and needs to be replaced to maintain the efficiency and safety of your car wash equipment.

* Note: This brush arm shock with the 3/8" bushing is used to connect the z-wrap brush arm to the frame. The brush arm shock with the 1/2" bushing (P-M2122-A) is used to connect the arm to the z-wrap drive unit.
