5 HP Vertical Centrifugal Pump (Grundfos CRI 5-14) for Tommy RO

This vertical multistage pump is an integral part of the Tommy Reverse Osmosis (RO) System's high-pressure section. Its purpose is to efficiently boost and circulate pre-treated water, pulled from the carbon tank and sediment filter, up to the high pressure required by the repressurization pump or directly by the RO membranes. Its vertical, in-line design is compact and efficient, with inlet and outlet ports on the same level.

The pump utilizes a powerful 5 HP, 3-Phase WEG motor operating at 3,461 RPM, designed for continuous duty and high efficiency (IE3 Premium Efficiency). The motor is housed in rugged Cast Iron and is Totally Enclosed, Fan Cooled (TEFC) with IP55 Protection and Class F Insulation, ensuring high reliability in the humid backroom environment.

The pump section itself is built with a durable Stainless Steel housing and has 14 stages to achieve a high Max Pressure of 363 PSI at a flow rate of 30.4 GPM. Connections are made via a 1−1/4" flexiclamp system. The robust design includes a Single Shaft Seal Arrangement with Silicon Carbide (SiC) bearing material for superior wear resistance, making it suitable for water-only applications across a wide temperature range of −4F to 248F.
