5 Micron Pleated Polypropylene Pre-Filter Cartridge (Tommy RO System)

This Pleated Polypropylene Sediment Filter is the key consumable component that provides critical pre-filtration for the sensitive Reverse Osmosis (RO) membranes in the Tommy system. It is designed to capture sediment and particulate matter down to 5 microns, protecting the membranes from fouling, clogging, and damage, thereby extending the life and efficiency of the entire RO unit.

The cartridge features a 5 micron pleated design, which provides a significantly larger surface area than conventional depth filters. This increased area is what allows the filter to handle extremely high flow rates (up to 125 GPM) with low pressure loss, minimizing the strain on the feed pump. Constructed from durable, FDA-Certified Polypropylene, the cartridge offers superior chemical and bacteria resistance, making it ideal for continuous use in water treatment environments.

This cartridge is intended to be securely installed within the P-WAT-2413 Full Flow Filter Housing. For optimal performance and system integrity, the filter is manufactured with Belly Filter Bands to prevent the media from collapsing under high flow rates or heavy contaminant loads, and Double EPDM O-Ring Seals to guarantee a leak-proof fit that prevents any bypass of unfiltered water.
