1.5 HP Electric Motor Drive Unit for Reverse Hugger and Z-Wrap Brushes

The 1.5 HP Electric Motor Drive Unit is a high-performance, essential component designed to power various brush types within your car wash tunnel. This robust drive unit is specifically engineered for use with Reverse Hugger brushes and Z-Wrap brushes in combo units, as well as Drying Reverse Hugger brushes located in the Blower Room. Its versatile design allows for installation on both driver and passenger side brushes, making it a universal solution for electric applications.

The self-contained drive unit comes fully equipped with critical components including the 1.5 HP gearmotor, a durable motor cage, four-bolt bearings, a chain, shaft coupler, locking collar, shim plate, and a stub shaft. The powerful 3-phase motor operates efficiently at 230/460 V and 60 Hz, ensuring consistent performance. It features a totally enclosed fan-cooled (TEFC) enclosure, providing superior protection against water, dust, and debris in the harsh wash environment, and boasts a universal direction shaft orientation for flexible installation.

The motor's shaft has a diameter of 1-1/8", connecting to a robust 1-1/2" diameter stub shaft. The top of the drive unit mounts securely to the wrap flex coupler using 3/8" mounting holes, while the bottom stub shaft connects to the Reverse Hugger brush with 1/2" mounting holes. The entire motor cage is constructed from high-grade stainless steel, offering exceptional resistance to rust and corrosion in the wet conditions of a car wash. With dimensions of approximately 32" L x 5-1/4" W x 8-1/4" H, this unit provides a powerful yet compact solution for your brush drive needs.
