Electric Motor Drive Unit for Reverse Hugger and Z-Wrap Brushes

This drive unit is used on the Reverse Hugger brushes and Z-Wrap brushes in the combo units and on the Drying Reverse Hugger brushes in the Blower Room of the wash tunnel. The drive unit contains the motor, motor cage, four-bolt bearings, chain, shaft coupler, locking collar, shim plate, and stub shaft. The gearmotor has a power rating of 1.5 HP and a shaft diameter of 1-1/8". It is a three-phase motor with a voltage of 230/460 V. It has a totally enclosed fan cooled enclosure around the motor and a universal direction shaft orientation. This drive unit can be used for both driver and passenger side brushes in the wash tunnel and is meant for electric applications. The top of the drive unit is mounted to the wrap flex coupler utilizing 3/8" mounting holes while the bottom of the drive unit shaft is mounted to the Reverse Hugger brush using 1/2" mounting holes. The drive unit motor cage is made of stainless steel to prevent rust and corrosion from happening in the wet wash environment.
