Dual Conveyor Belt Drive Shaft (44" Steel, 2-15/16" Round Ends, 3-1/2" Square Middle)
The Dual Conveyor Belt Drive Shaft is a robust and essential component for the efficient operation of the Dual Conveyor Belt system within a car wash tunnel. This high-strength steel drive shaft plays a critical role in the Drive Section of the Dual Conveyor Belt, serving as a key link in the power transmission system.
This drive shaft is designed to connect to chain couplers, which in turn link to other shafts in the drive unit, collectively providing the necessary power to move the conveyor belt throughout the entire system. One end of the shaft is specifically designed to mount securely into a chain coupler, while the opposite end facilitates mounting into a pillow block bearing, ensuring stable rotation and support. Conveyor sprockets are then slid over the drive shaft, utilizing its rotation to create the precise movement of the conveyor belt.
Precision-engineered, the shaft features 2-15/16 inch round ends, which transition to a 3-1/2 inch square diameter in the middle section. The total length of the drive shaft is 44 inches. Constructed from durable steel material, it is built to withstand the continuous stresses and heavy loads inherent in conveyor operations. Each shaft includes the necessary 3/4 inch keyways for straightforward and secure installation. It is important to note that two of these drive shafts are required for each Drive Section of the Dual Belt Conveyor system, positioned on each side of the gear motor to ensure balanced and effective power distribution.
