1/2" MNPT x FPT Mini Ball Valve (Midwest Control CMV-50)

The Mini Brass Ball Valve (CMV-50) is a compact and durable component designed for fluid control in various applications, notably used in the All-In-One Pump Station within a wash system. This valve features a 1/2" MNPT (Male National Pipe Taper) connection on one end and a 1/2" FPT (Female Pipe Taper) connection on the other, allowing for straightforward installation in line with other plumbing components.

Constructed with a one-piece brass body that is nickel-plated and chrome-plated, this valve offers enhanced durability and a longer lifespan, crucial for maintaining performance in demanding environments. It is designed with a regular port. A significant feature is its dual sealing system, incorporating PTFE ball seats and a Viton® O-ring, which allows the valve to be operated effectively in either flow direction. The valve also includes a blow-out proof stem for added safety.

The CMV-50 ball valve is rated for 450 PSI CWP (Cold Working Pressure) and 150 WSP (Working Steam Pressure). It is also suitable for vacuum service up to 29.9" Hg. While the general description specifies a temperature range of -4°F to 370°F, the detailed specifications indicate an operating temperature range of -4°F to 200°F. This valve is panel-mountable for flexible installation. It is operated by a polycarbonate wedge handle, which is removable and provides clear indication of the ball's position.
