Enpress ONE Carbon Block Water Filter - High-Capacity Car Wash and Water Filtration
The P-WAT-2798 is a replacement Enpress ONE Carbon Block Filter, an advanced solution for superior water filtration in a variety of demanding applications, including vital use within car wash filtration systems like those by Tommy Wash Systems. This filter incorporates cutting-edge surface-modified carbon block technology, making it highly effective at reducing common water quality issues such as bad taste, odor, and chlorine from potable drinking water. For car wash operations, this translates directly to improved water quality for rinsing, spot-free results, and equipment longevity by minimizing chlorine's corrosive effects. It is crafted using high-performance coconut shell carbon, which boasts a greater density of micropores compared to other carbon types. Coupled with a unique binder system, these carbon block filters deliver superior adsorption capacity and kinetic dynamics.
These high-capacity filters provide a cost-effective water filtration solution, offering ease-of-use, extended service life, and high capacity with exceptionally low pressure loss. The CT-03-CB model provides nominal 3-micron filtration over an impressive service life of over 250,000 gallons (almost 1,000,000 liters) with greater than 90% chlorine reduction at flow rates up to 15 GPM. Capacity is estimated based on 2ppm of free chlorine level.
The CT-03-CB is ideal for whole-house chlorine removal and general taste/odor improvement for homes on city water supplies. Its large media volume provides significantly superior flow rate capacity and service life compared to typical "Big Blue" style whole-house carbon filters (4.5 x 10 Inch and 4.5 x 20 Inch cartridges). It is also widely used commercial applications, where clean, de-chlorinated water is crucial, and specifically within car wash water filtration setups to enhance wash quality and protect sensitive equipment.
All components and materials are made with FDA approved materials, manufactured from NSF 61 Certified Coconut Shell carbon, and are California Prop 65 Compliant. Each filter features a unique top cap with a built-in handle for lightweight and easy removal, comes with a bag for proper sanitary disposal, and has a double o-ring bottom connection into the Cartridge Tank to prevent filter bypass. This cartridge is designed specifically for Enpress ONE Cartridge Tank filter systems with 1.25 inch inlet/outlet and is compatible with systems marketed under various other brand names such as Watts SCT-125, US Filter Systems 350-ONE-CT-125, Hellenbrand 109710, and Nelsen NFS-HF.
