This kit provides the ultimate air solution for high-volume car wash applications, combining a reliable, high-output duplex compressor with an efficient refrigerated air dryer.
Air Compressor (HR7DF-12):
The core is the Champion R-Series Duplex Piston Compressor, which utilizes two 7.5 HP pumps on a single 120 gallon horizontal tank. This 460 V,3-Phase system ensures constant air availability by alternating operation for even wear and engaging both pumps during peak 44.6 CFM demand. The compressor includes advanced features like an Air Cooled Aftercooler, Electronic Tank Drain, and Low Oil Stop Control for minimal maintenance.
Air Dryer (CGD50A1FP):
The included Champion CGD50A1FP Refrigerated Air Dryer has a 50 CFM capacity and operates on 115 V, Single Phase. It is critical for removing damaging moisture from the compressed air, providing air quality that meets ISO 8573-1 Class 4 to 5 pressure dew point standards. The dryer features a compact, reliable design with smooth bore, copper tube-on-tube heat exchangers, a centrifugal separator with stainless steel demister, and an electronic drain valve for efficient condensate removal. The addition of the dryer protects sensitive pneumatic components (like blast gates and solenoids) from rust and degradation.
