This duplex air compressor is a powerhouse specifically designed to meet the high, continuous air demand of a commercial car wash, supplying pneumatic power for all wash functions and equipment like blast gates and applicators. The system's duplex configuration is key to its reliability: it alternates the primary compressor for even wear and automatically activates the second compressor during peak demand, ensuring consistent air supply up to 44.6 CFM at 175 PSI.
Each compressor utilizes a rugged splash-lubricated R-Series pump with a gasketless, integral cylinder/head design, eliminating the risk of blown head gaskets. The construction is robust, featuring an Aluminum Alloy first-stage piston and Cast Iron second-stage piston for proper balance and durability. The unit includes advanced features for reliability and longevity, such as Loadless Starting (mechanical unloader), a Low Oil Stop Control, and an Electronic Tank Drain for automatic condensate removal. The entire assembly is mounted on an ASME-certified 120 gallon horizontal receiver.
