1/2" MNPT x 1/2" Push-to-Connect Adapter
The 1/2" MNPT x 1/2" Push-to-Connect Adapter is a durable and reliable fitting designed for quick and efficient connections in various fluid and pneumatic systems. Unlike plastic fittings, this adapter is constructed from high-quality brass with a corrosion-resistant nickel-plated finish, providing superior strength and longevity.
This connector features a push-to-connect mechanism on one end for a fast, tool-free assembly with 1/2" thermoplastic tubing. The other end has a 1/2" Male NPT threaded connection for a standard pipe union. The internal design includes a stainless steel gripping ring and an acetal locking collet, which work together to secure the tubing and prevent accidental disconnection.
To ensure a perfect seal on the threaded side, the fitting comes with a white acrylic sealant pre-applied from the factory. This eliminates the need for manual application of thread sealant, saving time and ensuring a consistent, leak-proof connection. The fitting is rated for a working pressure of 145 PSI and a vacuum rating of 29.5" Hg. It is suitable for both air and water applications within a specific temperature range.
