Tommy 300K Grain Alternating Style Duplex Water Softener System
This Tommy Duplex Water Softener System is used in the backroom of the wash site. The Tommy Car Wash Systems water softeners utilize ion exchange technology to replace minerals from hard water with minerals from salt to produce soft water. Soft water aids in preventing spotting, protecting equipment/piping from mineral build up, and allows detergents to produce a higher quality wash. The system was designed with longevity, simplicity, and ease of use in mind by utilizing Clack water softener components. This system utilizes an alternator set up; softener A and softener B. Softener A and B alternate with each other once one softener has been depleted. Total capacity is 300,000 grains /softener with a flowrate of 55 GPM continuous flow and a max flowrate of 75 GPM. This system includes a Tommy designed preplumbed copper manifold that simplifies plumbing.
