2" MNPT x 1" FNPT Reducer Bushing - PVC Schedule 80
Features a 2" Male NPT connection on one end and a 1" Female NPT connection on the other. This corrosion-resistant fitting is commonly used in the 400 Gallon Water Tanks and the Belt Flush System
This Schedule 80 PVC threaded reducer bushing is a high-strength component used to downsize the pipe diameter within the car wash plumbing system. Its specific application includes connecting components on the large water storage tanks and within the belt flush systems where a transition from a 2" pipe to a 1" pipe is required.
The fitting is made from durable PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) material, which is critical for the car wash environment as it is immune to rust, scaling, pitting, or corrosion caused by water and chemical exposure. Being Schedule 80, the bushing has thicker walls than standard Schedule 40 fittings, allowing it to safely handle a maximum operating pressure of 200 PSI.
The 2" Male NPT threads on one end screw directly into a larger female port, while the 1" Female NPT threads on the other accept the smaller 1" pipe or fitting. This lightweight, maintenance-free design ensures easy installation using PTFE tape for a secure, leak-free system and is suitable for operating temperatures between 32F and 140F.
