This Magnetic AutoControl MicroBoom Swingaway Gate Arm is specifically utilized at the wash tunnel entrance, one per pay lane, to control customer access. It acts as the physical barrier that prevents a guest from entering the wash until payment is completed or their license plate is successfully scanned and approved by the system.
The arm is built for high visibility and safety:
- LED Lighting: A pre-installed LED light strip runs along the bottom of the arm. The lights display Red when the arm is closed (stopping traffic) and switch to Green when the arm is open (allowing entry).
- Swingaway Flange: The swing-away design protects the arm from damage if struck by a vehicle, allowing it to move out of the way and then return to its operating position.
- Safety Edge: Includes a foam protective layer along the edge for enhanced safety.
- Highly Visible: The arm is 10' in length and 5-1/2" tall, colored white, and features highly visible LED lights, ensuring clear traffic indication.
