Hydrocyclone for Tommy Water Treatment Center

The Hydrocyclone is an advanced, yet simple, device for enhancing the efficiency of a car wash water treatment system. As a core component of the Tommy Water Treatment Center, it utilizes the power of centrifugal force to effectively separate solids from liquid without the use of any moving parts. This passive design is a major advantage, as it ensures extremely high reliability and requires minimal maintenance, eliminating the risk of mechanical failure or wear.

The hydrocyclone accelerates the natural settling process of solids in water. As fluid enters the unit, it is forced into a high-speed vortex, causing heavier solid particles to be thrown to the outside walls and spiral down to the bottom for collection. The cleaner liquid moves up through the center and exits at the top. This process significantly improves water quality before it enters filtration or recycling systems.

The unit is pre-fitted with a 3/4" brass hose barb, simplifying installation and ensuring a secure, corrosion-resistant connection at the solids-discharge port.
