The Arctic Steel Basket Strainer (70WS-SISO-300-S) is a high-quality water treatment component designed for efficient filtration in demanding applications. This 3-inch strainer features a SISO (Side-In Side-Out) configuration, allowing for versatile plumbing layouts. The body of the strainer is crafted from electro-polished AISI 2205 cast stainless steel, offering superior corrosion resistance. It comes standard with a solid electro-polished 316 stainless steel lid, which can be secured by five wing nuts for safe, quick, and easy access without requiring any tools. The design also includes swing-down eye bolts that eliminate the need to completely remove the nuts. The strainer utilizes a full height, high impact resistant ABS plastic basket for effective debris capture.
Other notable features include a durable silicone gasket for a tight seal, BSP or NPT thread availability, and a cast anode connection point to combat galvanic corrosion. The unit has a high flow rate of up to 743 GPM at 45 PSI (with a secondary reading of 228 GPM for 1-45 PSI). The overall dimensions are approximately 6.5 inches body width and 14.4 inches height.
