1" Male Hydra-Rester Water Hammer Arrester
SKU: P-WAT-2856
The Sioux Chief 657-F Water Hammer Arrester is an essential device for managing destructive pressure spikes, or "water hammer," in the car wash's piping systems. This arrester is specifically used on the hot water inlet units in the Detergent and Maintenance PODs and the All-In-One Pump Stations.
This is a piston-type arrester (Sioux Chief 650 Series) that uses a volume of air to dissipate kinetic energy, providing continuous, maintenance-free protection.
Key Features and Construction:
- Material: Constructed primarily of Type L copper tube with a copper MIP (Male Iron Pipe) thread on the connection end, ensuring durability and compliance.
- Working Limits: Rated for a Max Working Pressure of 350 PSIG and a Max Working Temperature of 250F. It has a high burst test rating of 2,900 PSIG.
